HB 3307PLC, a variety from F.W. Rickard Seed, is a late-maturing variety with a good yield potential and quality. It has high resistance to race 0 black shank and medium resistance to race1. HB 3307PLC is resistant to black root rot, but has been found to be susceptible to tobacco mosaic virus. Yield potential of this variety is high, but perhaps not quite as high as HB 04PLC or Hybrid 404LC in fields free of black shank. It does not have as large of a stalk and plant size as some of the other new varieties.
